Turntable Idler wheel with 4.7 mm ( = 3/16 of an inch) spindle hole.
Brand new production!
These idler wheels were used by Rock-Ola on all their 45 rpm model juke boxes.
Anybody who has worked on these Rock-Ola jukes knows
that most of the original idler wheels have got rubber rings which are now as
hard as nails, and which have dents and dings in the rubber
where the turntable spindle has been rubbing against the rubber ring
while the turntable was jammed above it all! Getting the correct and constant
45 rpm turntable speed with a clapped-out old idler wheel (and idler spring!) is impossible!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please carefully check the spindle hole diameter of your idler wheel; this one is 4.7 mm, but some Rock-Ola jukes which had the InterMix or Mech-O-Matic feature (where both 33 rpm and 45 rpm singles could be played in the one machine) have a 5.4 mm ( = 7/32 of an inch) spindle hole diameter.
