Antique C-1900 Ansonia Winnebago Porcelain Cobalt Blue/White Gold highlights Floral Mantle Clock with Lions or Griffins at the knees. The flowers are probably transfers but were then hand decorated to give them a hand painted look. Beautiful condition, no chips cracks or repairs to the case but does have light overall crazing and something down in the deep recesses that I didn’t want to try to remove. The movement was just disassembled, inspected and cleaned with 7 new bushings installed. The springs were taken off the arbors and cleaned with 000 steel wool then oiled and reinstalled. It’s been test run and it’s keeping very accurate time. Strikes the numbers of hours and once for half hours on a coiled gong. The dial is in nice condition, I do see a couple short hairlines around the hole for the hands and another on the edge just past the 2 and the glass door works like it should. I do note one easily noticed scratch on the thick beveled glass that’s just below the 10 when the door is closed. I also took the case apart and cleaned everything inside so there shouldn’t be any old smells coming from it. Comes with original pendulum and an old replacement winding key. All in all a great example that needs nothing and is ready to enjoy for years to come. Size is approximately 12” tall x 10” wide x 5-1/2” deep
