There are 38 visitor reviews for The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac. See them all here. Typical collection that misses some essentials Review written by Jim C., April 10th, 2015
I've been a Fleetwood Mac fan for longer than I'd care to admit and have been frustrated by the unrelenting focus on the Buckingham/Nicks era on all these collections. When I first saw this one was going to be a double disc, I had high hopes that they'd finally do it right. Nope. Now I'm not going to pretend that every great track from the pre B/N days belongs on here, but come on! With two CD's there certainly was room for at LEAST Black Magic Woman, Sentimental Lady and Hypnotized. The first one put the band on the map and the other two got substantial airplay throughout the early/mid 70's, keeping the band in the public's eye. Besides, the Welch era music is in dire need of remastering. Doing those two songs is the least they could do to make up for ignoring such a crucial era in the band's career.
UK/Éire edition Review written by John Sposato (sposato@inmail24.com), March 5th, 2009
I have the mainland EU import. This represents the classic lineup better than the 1988 collection, though nothing new was ready this time (as with this current tour). I'm going to have the band sign it when I see them in Rochester.
Spectacular Review written by Roel S. Siller, August 30th, 2006
Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band. I saw them in San Antonio, 08/17/80 & again on Halloween night 1982 in Austin, Texas. "Rumours" is my all-time favorite album, Grammy Award Winner! The Very best is absolutely fantastic! Thank you
