PoignantSpanish American War era photo of 5 children with leprosy in the Philippines. "LEPROS HOSPITTLE MANILA" written in negative. I don't know if this was a specialized leper hospital or colony. Most of the leprosy cases in the Philippines were segregated on Culion Island in the early 1900s. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" photo on a 8" x 10" mount. There is a chip in upper left of mount and a 1" break in mount on bottom edge - center.
