Also called ‘’The White Album'' by fans, Fleetwood Mac (produced by Olsen and the band) was lightning in a bottle due to its infusion of fresh talent — Buckingham and Nicks — with Fleetwood as a stabilizing force. A number of its tracks — ‘’Rhiannon,'' ‘’I'm So Afraid'' and ‘’Monday Morning'' — had been slated to appear on a sophomore Buckingham Nicks album but found their home with the newly reformed Fleetwood Mac. Meanwhile, the mid-tempo jangler ‘’Crystal,'' which had originally appeared on Buckingham Nicks' debut, was given a new arrangement and repurposed.
