\"Two Mandarins\" is a 5 x 7 original oil painting on canvas. I was originally influenced to do these small works after seeing a Joaquin Sorolla museum show where huge walls were covered with hundreds of his small studies.I paint alla prima, meaning in onesitting, and from life. All my work is done using professional and archivalpaints on archival canvas or linen.
As a daily(ish) painter I offerthese smaller works for sale at a lower price than if they were framed.I\'m showing what the painting might look like in a frame but it comes unframed,(it will fit in a standard frame) though ready to display.If you would like help framing, email me after thesale and I\'d be happy to help.
My workhas been seen in commercials and on television and is collected both in theUnited States and abroad. I teach classes, workshops, and privately, and oftenwrite about my work or about art in general.

- The painting will be lightly varnished, wrapped in waxed paper and then a paper wrapper over it before putting it in a USPS Priority Mail envelope or box. Paintings are shipped USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking.
- I ship 5 to 7 days after close of offer to be sure the painting and varnish is dry. If you need it sooner, let me know
- If you are local to me (Pasadena, CA) and want to pick the painting up let me know so we can arrange it and forgo the shipping cost.

- I know that a computer screen cannot completely display the nuanced colors in a painting and I want you to be completely happy so I offer a 14 day return. Just let me know you would like to return the painting within 14 days. I will refund your money once I receive the painting. Buyer pays for return.
