- The transfer to the new server is going reasonably well. A lot of the scripts (including the Ledge boards) have already been set up and the transfer could happen at any time now. I'm hung up on a few scripts (notably the album reviews...) but working as best I can to correct them. The new server seems to be A LOT faster.

- I've been given the keys (figuratively) to TEC's new server and am working on transferring files and setting up scripts. The domain name move is set for late next week but I'll be trying to get everything set up properly now. The new server is expected to be much more robust and should bring with it a significant speed increase.

- The Penguin is moving to another server within TEC's network. I've been told this move will happen today or tomorrow but because of the DNS issues, I have not been able to set things up in advance. I'll do my best to fix any problems as they arise but some things (such as The Ledge boards) might be down for a little while until I can correct all of the paths in the scripts. Sorry for the inconvenience; the end result is expected to be a large increase in speed.

- As was mentioned in our last newsletter (sign up here if you aren't getting it each week), we purchased a script that will bring a whole new level of interactivity to the discographies (and other parts of The Penguin in the future) in that you will be able to submit your own ratings and reviews for each of the 650+ albums in the discography. The coding has been installed on all solo albums from Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks, John McVie, John Stewart (those featured on The Penguin), and all of the Official Group albums from Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac through The Dance. If you would like to participate and submit your own, that would be fantastic. The coding will be added to MANY more albums in the coming weeks. Just go to the discographies to quickly navigate to them.
