Comments:
The calendars are printed on 8 1/2" x 11" sheets of semi-gloss matte finish paper (32 pound paper) and are spiral bound. The cover is of a linen type paper material. An example of the Rumours January page is shown. The calendars are being ordered in lots of 50 and we do not want to over-order. We are currently contacting only those that have submitted reservations for what we have in stock. We will not be stocking a large inventory of these calendars, as the price per calendar is signficant. If you know others who might also be interested in these calendars, please tell them about this so they can submit a reservation too. Please be realistic in the quantity of calendars you request; we really don't want to have any 'left over' calenders sitting in our closet at the end of January. I'm sure you all understand! Note: Although we expressed a desire to also prepare a Pre-Rumours/Rumours calendar as well, the interest level does not seem sufficient to us to try this for 2001. We will be inviting a lot of feedback once this year's batch is completed to determine what kinds of calendars people might like for 2002. Alternatively, if you would like to order a calendar which has a variety of Rock and Roll stars, please check out the 2001 calendar by one of our featured professional photographers, Dana Nalbandian. This year, her calendar features photos of Tina Turner, Sting, Donald Fagan, Joan Osborne, Santana, The Pretenders, Robert Plant, Roger Daltry, Pete Townsend, Neil Young, Roger Waters, and Stevie Nicks. "I just received my new Rumours 2001 calendar from The Penguin, and it is incredible!!! All of the photos that are in this calendar were chosen with such care. It's a great representation of the Rumours era of the band. Out of all the pictures, I am especially fond of the LB photos that were chosen for the months of March and July. One is from The Dance and the other is from OOTC. There is also an awesome picture of the band that was taken in San Diego on August 31, 1975. Thanks Marty & Lisa!! The photos are all very high-quality, but my favorite feature is the inclusion of the important dates sprinkled throughout the calendar. I consider myself to be a HUGE Fleetwood Mac fan (largely thanks to The Penguin), but there was even a few facts on the calendar that I didn't even know!
