Timespace: Best Of Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks Daubed with the slogan "These are the moments I live for", TIME SPACE romanticizes 10 years of Stevie Nicks solo hits and even throws in three new songs, including the Jon Bon Jovi-penned Sometimes It's A Bitch and Love's A Hard Game To Play, which was written by Poison's Bret Michaels. It's a sensual journey that looks at life through rose-coloured glasses, seeing it every bit as air-brushed as the cover photos of Nicks herself. This is music to miss your lover to, love songs that generally manage to stagger above the over-sentimentality of the majority of recent AOR, purely due to Nicks's distinctive delivery and some beautifully arranged songs. From Talk To Me and Stop Draggin' My Heart Around through to the newest cuts, TIME SPACE lingers above the clouds of empty relationships, glinting with a well-written silver lining. Good, but sometimes it's just too sickly sweet to swallow.
