While most everybody else was at MusiCares pre- Grammy shindig, those hard-working greybeards Fleetwood Mac spent most of Monday night rehearsing at Radio City Music Hall for their appearance at the Grammy Awards, where they're up for two trophies, "Best Pop Album" and "Best Performance for A Group." And just in case they win that tonight, they want to prove that they've still got the right stuff. But all work and no play makes Mac a dull band, so after their rehearsal the bandmembers put their petty problems behind them and congregated in the plush watering hole at the Righa Royal hotel, where they took over the piano bar, belting out Beatles' songs.

This isn't the only Fleetwood Mac return in the news. Original guitarist Peter Green is alive and well, despite reports of his demise a few years back, and will be releasing a new album on Snapper Records both here and in the UK.
