Modern Records Announces the Release of New Stevie Nicks 3CD Box Set On April 28, 1998

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1998--Modern Records (VSE: MZR.V: OTC Bulletin Board: MDNR) as previously announced on November 25, 1997, the CD box set with recording superstar Stevie Nicks is now completed and scheduled to be released on April 28th, 1998.

On April 10th a single from the box set recorded by Stevie with backgrounds by Don Henley of the Eagles will be out to the radio stations around the world. The single will not be sold separately, to create more interest in the box set, and will only be sent out for promotional purposes.

Stevie Nicks is backing up the release of the box set with a 37 city American tour starting May 27th. This tour is very timely after her recent successful tour with Fleetwood Mac that ended late last year.

The retail price for the album is set at US $44.95. Atlantic Records, the distributor of the album, is estimating that the break even for the album is about 25,000 sold units. In the Modern Records deal with Atlantic all expenses are prepaid by Atlantic and the profits are split 50/50 between the two companies.
