Number of One Heart At A Time (1985) Reviews: 3
It is one of the most annointed albums I've heard.
Reviewer: Virginia Keith, July 12, 2002 One Heart at a Time is one of the most uplifting albums I have ever heard. I believe it to be annointed, and that God moves upon people and blesses them as they listen to the words.
Don's best studio album ... A Classic !
Reviewer: Paul Shepherd (paul.shep@ntlworld.com), Control systems Engineer April 12, 2002 I don't understand how anyone can be negative in any way about this album. It's a classic with beautiul songs like 'Prodigals Song' to stir emotions that others songs just don't reach ! Musically it has some fantastic guitar on several tracks and Don's feel for the blues really comes across showing him to be a natural blues musician. The country feel may not be to everyones taste but the sense of genuine longing for the father overrides those minor issues and every song is food and encouragment to the heart.
Well done Don this album has greatly warmed my heart at times and I think you are due a bit of credit here ! Thanks !
Cumbersome Christian calamity
Reviewer: John Fitzgerald, Human resources staff database assistant June 08, 2001 This contemporary Christian album is mostly slow numbers with a slight country tinge
which never really get off the ground although it starts out with the promising rocking title
track and the other rocker "So satisfied" has Rick on slide guitar and includes a breakneck
pace but overall is rather disappointing as it tends to fall into the traps of banality that
surrounds it's genere and although it's not laughable it's hard to find some real
entertainment here. The packaging is somewhat impressive but can't help save the
triteness that seeps through the cracks of the proceedings. I don't doubt that Francisco has
some talent as he took part in writing all but one song from the platter but there's just not
enough here to give this an average rating.
