Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks also shows growth on her fourth solo album, "The Other Side of the Mirror" (Modern). With the exception of a couple of songs ("Ghosts," "Juliet"), she continues to shed her maddeningly mystical Welsh witch persona in favor of direct sentiments and narratives like "Alice," "Cry Wolf," "Fire Burning," and "Ooh My Love." This "Mirror" is well worth a look - and a listen.
