Tonight I attended my first Fleetwood Mac concert in Orlando. I paid over $300 for
two tickets (a birthday present to my wife). I've been a FM fan since my early
20's, and particularly wanted to see Stevie sing Landslide.
The band came out and started playing. My anticipation was replaced by anger. The
music was WAY TOO LOUD, and I was sitting at the back of Amway Arena. Everyone was
commenting that it was painful. Some people left after two songs, probably not
wanting to damage their hearing. In my opinion, Fleetwoood Mac and ear splitting
loudness don't go together. I sat through most of the concert in disappointment. I
was not hearing what I came to hear. Some of the songs were very good, but what I
will remember most about this night is the unnecessary, painfully loud sound level.
Please don't ruin future concerts by letting this continue. Please note: I am a
fan, will continue to be, and buy your music. I've been in love with Stevie's voice
for decades.
