Stevie Nicks has her new backup band all lined up and will soon be plunging into rehearsals for her North American concert trek that kicks off in Boston July 22. She's loaded with enthusiasm about the tour and the release of Street Angel , her first solo album in five years - but is hoping she won't have to do a video to help push the release.
"Videos aren't my favorite thing. I'm way too uncomfortable being a film study," says the former Fleetwood Mac sex symbol, whose visage graces numerous film clips and videos. "I can sit in someone's living room and talk and sing and entertain all evening, but the minute someone takes out a camera, I'm not bubbling anymore. That's why, when I had the chance to do acting, I turned it down flat."
