Rock star John Graham McVie is facing felony drug charges here for alleged possesion of cocaine.

McVie, 35, is a member of the Fleetwood Mac rock group. He and his wife, Julie Ann, 29, were scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. l6 on charges of possession of cocaine.

Mrs. McVie also is charged with hindering prosecution by allegedly attempting to destroy the evidence.

McVie was arrested two weeks ago and released after posting $1,000 bail. His wife was released on $1,500 bail.

Police said they found 4.5 grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and several guns in the McVie home on Maui Island.

Maui police said they obtained a search warrant after receiving a tip from Honolulu police.

McVie is a British citizen and could face deportation proceedings if convicted.
