Guitar legend Green turns his hand to art

IT HAS been years since he left Fleetwood Mac , having taken one acid trip too many.

But the band's founding member, guitar legend Peter Green, is poised to step back into the limelight with an exhibition of his artwork.

"I've been doing a lot of paintings, drawings and photography, and there's been talk of putting on a show, " said Green, 59, who speaks in a dazed fashion following decades of psychiatric drugs and even ECT.

The guitarist, who still performs musically, has also ruled out reuniting with Fleetwood Mac. "There's a two-in-athousand chance we'd play together again, " he told us at a London awards ceremony. "We don't get on so well now. We used to get on very well, so I suppose it has to balance out."
