My family & I attended your concert last night in Detroit and I wanted to drop a line to say how much we enjoyed your performance.
Hope you can take the time to humour my lengthy note, but a bit of background. Like many of the Boomers at the concert last night, Rumours became my favourite album while a 17 year old in high school and has remained my fave ever since. Now married with a family, we played it during trips to our summer cottage on the shores of Lake
Huron quite a bit. Our young children were "forced" to listen to it in our van during the 2 hour drive each way, summer after summer. I suppose it was only
natural that last winter when I was on line ordering the tickets for last nights concert, my daughter, now 21, reminded me of the music she heard on those journeys and begged me to also buy her a ticket to the concert. I had originally wanted to buy 2 tickets as an early 50th birthday present for my wife. The concert was wonderful and enjoyed by our all of us. I'm pretty proud of my children and feel we
have raised them to be thankful for what they have and respectful of others, so when Stevie, Mick and the band came out to thank everyone for coming, and shared your words of wisdom with us, it seemed only fitting. It was a very classy ending to a
wonderful evening I got to share with the two most important women in my life. I was so happy that we were able to share the experience with them. So, in response to your thank - just want to say, it's much appreciated, and we do hope to "see you next time".
