LONDON (AP) - The original bassist in Fleetwood Mac has died.

Britain's The Guardian newspaper reports Bob Brunning died of a heart attack last week at the age of 68. Brunning answered an ad for a bass player placed by Peter Green.

Brunning was in the group for three months, when Green asked him to leave so that John McVie could play bass.

Brunning went on to play with Savoy Brown and then became a teacher.
