It was rock around the block on Sunset Strip! The limos double-parked as ticket holders clamored for entrance to one of the major rock events of the year, which had been hyped for weeks in the Hollywood trade papers. Onstage at the Roxy. Bob Welch had returned in style, fronting a throbbing, power-packed band. Then, out of the wings, came: "Madame X", Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie. The ensuing rock'n'roll fans' delight, more than lived up to all expectations.

Surprise appearances by Carmine Appice (the extraordinary drummer from Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, and Beck, Bogert and Appice), as well as Howard Leese and Ann Wilson (Heart) heighten the spontaneity and energy of this live concert event. But, even with this incredible series of cameos, the show still belonged to Bob Welch.

The spirit of the videodisc truly captures the uncontrollable exuberance of rock'n'roll hysteria at its best! From the hit strains of "Sentimental Lady" and "Ebony Eyes" to the grand jam finale of "Blues in A," this disc, recorded in stereo, is definately a collector's item.

Only 300 people were able to cram into the Roxy that fabled night, but now the sight and sound of the whole even is yours to relive!
